RESET. Everything is breathing!

“Reset” describes a new start. It describes the moment when you stop and have to decide whether and how to continue. Then you breathe in together and a utopian idea emerges: where there is singing, an intimate togetherness becomes audible and change gets possible.

Five Düsseldorf ensembles test revolutions outside and sing their way to new, shared visions of the future. Singing against stagnation, the singers perform music ranging from classical, jazz and electro to pop, punk and collective improvisations, while at the same time questioning themselves and us: what does a collective new beginning of polyphony sound like?

The playful, interactive stage set consists of 6 movable elements filled with air. They are carried by the musicians during the concert, rolled across the square, stacked in a heap, knocked over and gently bounced. Waving stripes in bright red-orange tones stretched across the square create a stage with an inviting atmosphere.
