Löbau – how are you?
The interactive shop window installation ‘Löbau – Wie geht’s’ (Löbau – How are you?) was designed as part of the outreach programme ‘Museum unterwegs’ (Museum on the move) of the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden. It invites the people of Löbau to fill a mood barometer with life: they can use their own smartphones to anonymously share their current mood. The answers are immediately visible on a monitor. On the back, there is the option to fill out an analogue, in-depth survey.
The mobile, modular installation is designed for use in different shop windows and moves to a new location in Löbau city centre every three weeks. The lightweight plug-in system allows for easy, tool-free assembly by two people. An inviting design with fresh, bright colours ensures high visibility and recognition, supported by the use of the CI colours of the ‘Löbau wie geht’s’ campaign. Graphic elements such as smileys with different emotions appear in print and digitally on a monitor, with the shapes and appearance derived from the font used.
